School Health Centres
Being a local organisation, the wellbeing of our community and future generation is important to us.
Pop-Up Health provide school Health Centre services to various schools across the state. Our team of experienced school nurses can manage your school’s health and wellness needs on a permanent or ad hoc basis, for services within the school Health Centre and Boarding House.
The Pop-Up Health school nursing staff are part of a dedicated, skilled and experienced schools’ workforce.
All Pop-Up Health staff are credentialled with DCSI clearances, National Police Check, CPR and AHPRA registration and wear our uniform daily. Pop-Up Health staff comply with all COVID requirements and vaccinated for Influenza. Staff have completed RAN Training and are familiar with Synergetic software program
Pop-Up Health is experienced working with Public, Catholic and Independent school systems in various capacities and can assist with services such as;
- Relief nurses for an existing school Health Centre
- Nurses to assist on school camps, excursions, sports carnivals, or other higher risk activities
- COVID support
- School staff health assessments
- Supply of medical consumables and pharmaceuticals for the school’s Health Centre
- Student education on relevant health topics (such as women’s health, sexual health, COVID, skin cancer & protection, breast cancer awareness, pelvic pain, mental health, drugs & alcohol safety).
Pop-Up Health can also assist with the review of a school’s existing health-related policies and procedures or the provision of new ones. Policies and procedures may include:
- Anaphylaxis Management
- Diabetes Management
- Head injuries
- Standard Procedures for First Aiders
- Mental Health First Aid
- General Health Centre policies & procedures
- Mandatory reporting policies
- COVID/Influenza Management
- Infectious Diseases Guidance
